FREE Self-Defense Class for Women
“Empowering women through self-defense” Ever wanted to learn more about how to avoid bad situations and how to defend yourself? The Giles County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Rich Creek Police Department, is offering a FREE Rape Aggression Defense class for women. The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) system is a program of realistic self-defense tactics, concepts and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with AWARENESS, PREVENTION, RISK REDUCTION, & AVOIDANCE, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. Class will be taught by RAD certified instructors and is FREE! The next class session is December 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th from 5:30pm till approximately 7:30pm at the Rich Creek Community Center.
